UCAS Clearing opens on the 5 July 2023
If you don’t have your exam results yet you can still apply and if you are successful, we’ll make you a conditional offer.
This means you can apply for accommodation if you choose to accept whilst waiting for your results.
It’s possible that some popular courses might fill up, so it’s best not to wait around!
What is Clearing?
UCAS Clearing is a process designed to match students who haven’t secured a university place with courses that still have vacancies. It’s an alternative route for those who have applied after the 30th of June, didn’t receive offers, didn’t meet the conditions of their existing offers, or wish to change their application.
Applying for the first time?
You can apply through UCAS Clearing if:
- You are applying for university after the 30th of June.
- You didn’t meet the requirements of your firm (CF) or insurance (CI) choice universities.
- You didn’t receive any offers when you first applied.
- You have been offered places but wish to explore other options using the Self-release option.
